This is the day that Android fans have been waiting for, the day the iPad gets competition, the day the Galaxy Tab is announced.
The rumor mill was actually mostly correct when it comes to the specs of the tablet. Continue reading for all the specs after the break.

Some additional details: It has full 1080p HD playback. The back of the device is white and the front is black. There are four touch sensitive buttons. On the bottom there is a 30-pin connector that works with HDMI, charging, docks, and other accessories.
I must admit that I was disappointed on by the obvious lack of Super AMOLED. Testers reactions have been positive though, and it looks like the Super AMOLED won’t be all that missed.
Additionally, Samsung has confirmed that the device will be upgradeable to Android 3.0 Gingerbread, but it doesn’t seem like it will be upgradeable to Honeycomb which its next tablet apparently will.
