The Archos 101 loses sorely to the Galaxy Tab, but not because of the specs. They are very closely related on specs and even have the same processor, but that doesn’t matter if there is no Android Market support. That is right, the Archos 101 does not have access to the Market, but instead has a 3rd party market called Apps Lib. Sure it is better than nothing and you can always side-load, but this is nearly a deal-breaker. For the sub $300 price though it isn’t too bad of a device. If you aren’t poor like me, then definitely go for the Tab. For more Archos coverage be sure to check out my post on TabWar.com.
Do you agree that the Archos 101 blows?
