No doubt you have tried to visit Hulu.com on your Galaxy Tab and been blocked because you are on an Android device. Apple devices have had the pleasure of watching Hulu for months, and they don’t even have flash support!
Last week at CES, Hulu officially announced a dedicated Hulu Plus app. It will require a monthly subscription, but you will be able to watch your favorite shows on the go. The good news is that the price recently dropped from $9.99/month to $7.99/month. Plus you can sign up for a two week free trial. Just be sure to cancel it before the two weeks are up, or you will be charged for the next month.
The iOS version of the application works on both 3G and Wi-Fi, so we can assume the same for the Android version. This is good because when you are watching Hulu on your Tab, you probably are not at home.
Hulu isn’t very open about the details, but it looks like it won’t run on all Android devices.
Hulu Plus will be available on select Android mobile phones in coming months.
Considering Samsung already demonstrated the app on the Galaxy S at CES, the Galaxy Tab is a shoo-in. The only question left is, when exactly will it be available?
So what do you guys think? Are you going to get a Hulu Plus subscription, do you already have one, or are you going to pass on this altogether? Tell me in the comments below.
