CyanogenMod founder hired by Samsung Mobile team

You know how people always say, “The mobile companies should just hire the XDA Developers.” Well, Samsung made a huge step in the right direction by hiring CyanogenMod founder, Steve Kondik.

This does not mean that suddenly Samsung phones and tablets will have CyanogenMod installed on them instead of TouchWiz. Instead it means that there will be a very talented developer with a new insight about how phones and tablets should work. Hopefully we will see some improvements to TouchWiz UX in the near future.

Kondik says he will continue to wok on CyanogenMod as a side project, but CyanogenMod is very community driven at this point.

How do you feel about Steve Kondik working for Samsung Mobile now?
