App Review – Champions League

Champions League

This is by far one of the most amazing apps I have come across. Being a soccer fan myself, I personally absolutely love this. Champions League is the coolest app so far for any soccer enthusiasts out there! This is also a great learning experience for anyone. Champions League is an amazing appazine, with exclusive video interviews, 3D animations, Interactive Chapters, and you can even build your own dream team!

The Champions League app is made by Ringier Studios, an app development company in Foster City, California. Ringier Studios develops extremely innovative, and creative for all sorts of Fortune 1000 companies.

The app shows very many 3D animations, including several amazing 3D animation videos featuring goals and saves by Zidane, Ronaldinho, Schmeichel’s and Ver Der Sar!

Fans will also love the exclusive video interviews in Champions League! Meaning, these exclusive video interviews, you can ONLY find on this wonderful app! The interview questions can be swiped through and answered by a legend. There are 5 great soccer legends that are on here, Steve McManaman, Stephane Chapuisat,Ottmar Hitzfeld, Giovanni van Bronckhorst and Franco Baresi!

There are 3 chapters. The Mystique chapter talks about the fifteen great clubs, the meaning of Champions League, a look at the finals, jerseys, and even how the gear is made! The Money chapter talks all about the revenue and values, five questions for five legends, on the road to the 2011 final, following the money, the whistle-blowers and more! The third chapter, The Moments, is exactly that, the moments. The moments include the trophy, fans, my life as a ball, dream team, goals, saves, and fouls!

You can even create your own Dream Team! You build the Dream Team by placing the couch and the players on the field, which is by far very, very cool. You can also share your Dream Team on Facebook and/or Twitter!

Ringier Studios has outdone themselves with this amazing appaazine! Soccer fan or not, you will definitely enjoy this great app!

Ringier Studios Champions League is available exclusively on the Samsung Apps store for free! It is most definitely available for most Samsung Galaxy devices. Once you get this app, you will not be able to put it down!

Matt — I say this with constructive criticism (and I know, having once been in your shoes at your age writing for websites), seek out the help of an editor, someone to look over your writing and give you input.  For example, exclamation points should be used sparingly, as to give emphasis where you need it.

Anyway, best of luck to you in a long, fruitful career in writing!  I hope to see more of your stuff.

I appreciate the constructive criticism, thank you. I will be a bit more careful in my writing in the future.

Thank you very much! You definitely will.

Why is your clock and other icons on the bottom blue and mine is grey. How do i change it?

The photo is in the post is using stock Honeycomb not TouchWiz UX that Samsung puts on their tablets. I am sorry for the confusion.

But there is a way to change how it looks. It is not something I would recommend trying if you are not very tech savvy though. XDA has themes like http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1349862 that mimic the stock interface (among others).

      I hope this was helpful!

Just like Kyle said. I’m using stock Honeycomb, however I may end up putting a ROM on my Galaxy Tab 10.1 sometime in the near future, I just have not gotten to it yet.
