Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 to come with quad-core processor?
Netbook News has receieved a tip from an anonymous Samsung employee in Korea that production of the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (GT-P5100) has stopped to upgrade the 1 GHz dual-core CPU to a quad-core CPU. It is unknown what brand of processor Samsung is switching to. The two most likely candidates are their own quad-core Exynos CPU that they have been working on or NVIDIA’s quad-core Tegra 3 CPU. Both would be a great addition to the tablet, but I think the Exynos CPU is better.
