Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 gets a teardown

Tech Republic cracked open the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 to reveal all of the components inside. The full list can be found below, but I’d like to mention a few things first. The tablet is actually relatively easy to open because there are no hidden screws. Just wedge something thin in the seem and pop it open. Because it is so easy to open, the 4,000 mAh battery can be replaced by the user if it ever dies.
