Galaxy Tab 2 delayed
We got some bad news today for all of the future owners of the Galaxy Tab 2. Both the 10.1 inch and 7.0 inch versions of the Galaxy Tab 2 are going to be delayed. Even more frustrating than the fact that they are being delayed is the reason why. Samsung says that they need more time to work on the Ice Cream Sandwich ROM for the device. Samsung has had the source code for ICS longer than any other company because they manufactured the Galaxy Nexus and they still can’t launch a device on schedule with Ice Cream Sandwich. Other companies have managed to push out ICS updates to their tablets. ASUS comes to mind as doing exceptionally well.
So if you were looking forward to buying a Galaxy Tab 2, whether it be for the voice calling capabilities or Ice Cream Sandwich, you will have to wait until the end of April to buy. That is not too far away, but still frustrating for anybody who wanted to buy it sooner.
