Chrome Beta, the best browser for Ice Cream Sandwich tablets
With the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 on the market running Ice Cream Sandwich, the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 launching tomorrow which also runs Ice Cream Sandwich, and a plethora of Ice Cream Sandwich ROMs available for the Honeycomb Galaxy Tabs, I think it is time to make a post about my favorite browser. My favorite browser, and probably the best browser, is Chrome Beta.
Chrome Beta only works on phones and tablets running the latest major release of Android, Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0). I am not sure why it does not support Honeycomb tablets.
It does crash on me from time to time and scrolling on some webpages can lag behind, but I find it to be more reliable than the stock browser. My favorite feature is that Chrome Beta will sync with Chrome on my computer. Not only can I access the bookmarks that I have synced from my computer, but I can see what tabs I have open on it. This makes switching from the PC at home to the tablet on the go a snap.
You can download it for free from the Play Store and start enjoying a better web browsing experience on your tablet today.
