CloudOn, a productivity app done right
CloudOn is an app that accesses the cloud version of Microsoft Office. It completely blows the competition out of the water. I have tried both Polaris Office and Quickoffice Pro HD and thought they were acceptable word processing apps, but now I will never go back. Not only is CloudOn better, it is free!
If you do not have an internet connection, then you won’t be editing any files using this program. Like many of its competitors, CloudOn syncs with Box, Dropbox, and the recently released Google Drive. It is not these features that make the application only work with an online connection though. The application requires an internet connect because actual editor is stored on the cloud since it is the web version of Microsoft Office.
This app is powerful and familiar. You can edit and create documents using the web versions Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. It can also view PDFs, JPGs, PNGs, GIFs, and other filetypes. If you do not try this app out, then you are doing yourself a disservice.
You can download CloudOn from the Google Play store for free. It supports Android 3.1 and up.
