The Galaxy Note 10.1 was underwhelming when announced at Mobile World Congress, but has started to shape into the next flagship tablet from Samsung. The media was initially shocked by lack of a slot for the S Pen stylus since the 5.3 inch Galaxy Note managed to fit one. Samsung has corrected their oversight now, as you can see in the picture below, with a slot for the S Pen.
The Galaxy Note 10.1 is going to have a quad-core Exynos CPU that blows all the other tablets out of the water. You can check out these leaked benchmarks for further evidence.
Hopefully the new Note will feature a higher resolution screen than the standard 1280 x 800 resolution that all 10.1 inch Android tablets have adopted. It just won’t stack up against the 1080p tablets around the corner, not to mention the third generation iPad.
Samsung will also sell an adapter for the S Pen to make it bigger for users that want a more natural pen experience. The S Pen will not fit in the built-in stylus slot while in the adapter.
