Galaxy Note 2 rumored for September with 5.5 inch display?

Galaxy Note 2 Mockup

GSM Arena has some information from “an insider source, whom we have good reasons to trust” about the Galaxy Note 2. They claim that the second Galaxy Note phone will have a 5.5 inch Super AMOLED screen. The design of the phone will take cues from the Galaxy S III. The Galaxy Note 2 is also said to have a smaller horizontal footprint than the original Note, even though the screen size will be larger. This could mean that there will be an almost border-less display and the screen will run to the edge.

Just like I mentioned in the title, this rumor indicates a September launch. That is coming up quickly. I wonder if the Galaxy Note 2 will make it to market before the endlessly delayed Galaxy Note 10.1..

Hopefully this phone will run the latest version of Android, Jelly Bean. There are reasons to believe that it might, but most likely it will launch with Ice Cream Sandwich.
