Apple forced to publicly acknowledge that Samsung did not copy the iPad

Apple must publish on its British website and in newspapers that Samsung did not copy the iPad. Samsung has taken a hit to its public image thanks to all the claims that the Galaxy Tab line is just a copy of the iPad. A UK judge has already ruled that none of the design patents were infringed.

Samsung issued this statement after the hearing was over, “Should Apple continue to make excessive legal claims based on such generic designs, innovation in the industry could be harmed and consumer choice unduly limited.”

Apple is the undisputed market leader and they continue to sue companies that have a fraction of the market share. Apple is being the bully while pretending they are the victim.
