Galaxy Note II officially announced with killer specs
The Galaxy Note II (Galaxy Note 2) has finally been unveiled by Samsung after months of rumors and leaks. As expected, it has a 5.5-inch screen with a 1280 x 720 resolution and Super AMOLED technology.
The Note II also has an extremely powerful 1.6 GHz quad-core Exynos processor and spacious 2 GB of RAM. Storage configurations include 16 GB, 32 GB, and 64 GB with an option to expand via microSD. The cameras on the Galaxy Note II include both an 8 MP rear shooter and a 1.9 MP front-facing one. The battery on the Galaxy Note II is even larger than the one in the original Galaxy Note at 3,100 mAh.
Of course the S Pen is included with the Galaxy Note II and it comes with some new software goodies. Speaking of software, did I mention that this phone has the latest and greatest operating system from Google, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean? Well, it does.
The Galaxy Note II is definitely an exciting piece of hardware that deserves checking out if your pockets can handle it. It will be released in October “starting in major European, Asian, and Middle East markets.”
