Wi-Fi Galaxy Tab 10.1 Ice Cream Sandwich update available in UK

The Galaxy Tab 10.1 Ice Cream Sandwich update has already started to roll out on the 3G models, but now the Wi-Fi models are starting to get their turn. The GT-P7510 currently has an over the air update ready in the United Kingdom.

Hopefully, Samsung will release updates in other parts of the world soon too. It should not be much longer though because Samsung promised Android 4.0 updates by the end of August.

This update has breathed new life into my 10.1. I’d been trying the alpha builds of jelly bean but went to ICS when the official update came out. It has most of the nice touches from jelly bean without the stability issues.

Not sure what they’ve done with the widget grid though, the spacing seems really tight.

Still waiting for the official ICS-update in The Netherlands.
My next tablet will absolutely not be a Samsung again.
