Samsung wants the Galaxy Tab 10.1 injunction removed

The Galaxy Tab 10.1 has had an injunction placed on it in the United States since June 26. Now that the jury has ruled in favor of Samsung on one of the patents that justified the injunction, Samsung thinks that it should be removed.

I think it is ridiculous that it was even banned in the first place. Not only does it look different than the iPad, it is also over a year old. Not many people would even try to buy the Galaxy Tab 10.1 if it was available for sale in the United States.

    I would buy it. It’s an amazing device. You don’t need much more than what its hardware specs are. Unfortunately everybody is blinded by the fact that 30 new tablets a year is ridiculous (especially given the gains are not very big).

    Everybody forgot about the Galaxy Tab 10.1 (no official ICS updates in most countries, and even Cyanogen mod hasn’t released the stable version 9 yet) but it’s a great little device. Sure it doesn’t have HDMI out or micro-USB, but at $a 150-200 price point it would sell like hot buns.
