Another day, another Android 4.0 update. The Wi-Fi Galaxy Tab 8.9 Ice Cream Sandwich update is now available for over the air installation or via Samsung Kies if you prefer.

    Local Samsung rep (Finland) has no clue about any time schedule for update. Samsung is the worst manufacturer in mobile when it comes to product support. 8.9 is barely a year old product and already forgotten by Koreans.

    Guys, I suggest we report this to Tech sites like Engadget, The Verge, etc. Samsung needs a push from the media. They need to be pressured so we can get our updates! Ggrrr!!!

    Samsung need to fix this part of their game. It really sucks to wait for months and no official announcements when upgrades will take place. Why did you not copy this strategy from apple? This is one thing they are much much better at.

    i live in Australia the model is GT-P7320T Galaxy 8.9. I wouldnt have bought this piece of sh!t if i had have known it would be so useless, incompatible with most apps i want etc etc. I have an iphone and thought id take the step toward android only find that the Samsung product i decided on was a complete disappointment.
