Samsung announced new Galaxy Player 5.8

As you might guess, the new Galaxy Player 5.8 has a 5.8-inch screen. That seems like a nice size for a tablet that potentially can fit into many pockets. Too bad Samsung ruined it by putting a low resolution screen on the Galaxy Player 5.8. It is a qHD display, which means it has a resolution of 960 x 540. The PPI on a screen that size is about 190. This is definitely a plan to cut the price of the tablet, but it might kill it for a lot of people.
Not many other specs are known other than a VGA front camera, 2,500 mAh battery, and 16/32 GB storage options. We should learn more about it at IFA in the coming days.
