Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is available for preorder

The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is now available to preorder on Amazon, Fry’s, and Best Buy. It will cost you $400 and provide very similar specs to the Galaxy Tab 10.1 and likely perform similarly as well. The biggest difference between the two is the fact that the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is comes with Ice Cream Sandwich instead of Honeycomb.

The tablet will be released on May 13th.

Canada Galaxy Tabs getting Ice Cream Sandwich

Canadian Galaxy Tabs and Galaxy Note are starting to get updated to Ice Cream Sandwich today. The tablets to receive the update are the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, Galaxy Tab 8.9, Galaxy Tab 10.1 and the 5.3 inch Galaxy Note. The Galaxy Tab 7.0 is also listed to receive the upgrade, but I wouldn’t count on the original Galaxy Tab to receive the Ice Cream Sandwich update. Though the updates are starting to roll out already, they have allotted the whole quarter to finish the roll out process.
