Samsung has recently been airing ads poking fun at Apple users and this ad follows the same theme. A line of Apple fans are lined up and waiting for the next iPhone and a person with a Galaxy Note walks by. Immediately the people in line are intrigued. Then everybody breaks out into song and dance.
A few other Samsung devices are present in the video like the Galaxy S II and a Galaxy Tab.
Want to make sure that you get the AT&T Galaxy Note on day one? Well you can preorder the Galaxy Note on AT&T now. It is available in Carbon Blue or Ceramic White and comes packed with AT&T’s blazing fast LTE.
The orders will start to ship on the 17th and should arrive by the 19th when stores will start selling them.
The 5.3 inch device will cost you $299 on a two-year contract and there does not seem to be an option to buy the device without one.
US Cellular has just announced its two first LTE devices and one of them just happens to be the Galaxy Tab 10.1. There is no word on pricing yet it will be available sometime this March.
US Cellular’s LTE network will launch in Wisconsin, Maine, Iowa, North Carolina, Oklahoma and Texas, but will continue to expand. If you aren’t in those areas and want to get an LTE equipped Galaxy Tab, then you should look to Verizon and AT&T for that.
Canadian carriers are jumping on the bandwagon too. On February 14th you will be able to purchase a Galaxy Note on Telus, Bell, or Rogers. It will cost C$249.99 on a three year contact. The Canadian Galaxy Notes will run on LTE or at least the Bell and Telus versions according to Best Buy.
It looks like that leaked AT&T roadmap was nearly spot-on. AT&T has just come out and announced that they will be selling the Galaxy Note February 19th. They will also start accepting preorders as early as February 5th. Preorders will be processed on the 15th and shipped on the 17th. The actual device will cost $299.99 on contract.

This year Mobile World Congress will be held February 27 through March 1 and AndroidandMe is reporting that a new Galaxy Tab model will be announced there. The tablet that will be announced is the already rumored Galaxy Tab 11.6.
BGR reports that AT&T will start selling their variant of the Galaxy Note on February 18th. It will cost $299.99 with a two year contract. That is a little higher than I would have hoped but it is, after all, a small tablet.
The big difference with AT&T’s Galaxy Note is the ability to get blazing fast data speeds on their new 4G LTE network. There is also a small GHz upgrade on the CPU from 1.4 GHz to 1.5 GHz. The actual chipset inside is still up for debate. The original model has a Samsung built Exynos processor but it is rumored that the AT&T variant has a Qualcomm built Snapdragon processor. Either way this phone is fast and deserves to be in your daily driver.
Another XDA member has compiled a CyanogenMod 9 ROM. The big difference this time is working 3G on 3G Galaxy Tab 10.1s. There is a bug where the signal bars do not display any signal, but the 3G data should still work. Like the other KANG CyanogenMod 9 ROMs, the camera is broken. So Skype video calls definitely will not work on that ROM.
Again this is for 3G models of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 (GT-P7500). If you decide to use this ROM make sure to make a backup in ClockworkMod before wiping and flashing.
