Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has a MicroSD card slot

Samsung seems to have heard the community and has added a MicroSD card slot to both the Wi-Fi version and the cellular version of the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus. This is a welcome improvement over the Galaxy Tab 10.1.
That means you can expand your memory with a MicroSD card once you run out of space on either your 16 GB or 32 GB Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus.
Does the MicroSD card slot make you want the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus more?

The seven inch tablet from Samsung is coming to T-Mobile November 16th. It will cost $250 with a two year contract (after a $50 rebate).
If you do not need the data and can survive solely on Wi-Fi, then consider the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus Wi-Fi Only model for only $399.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Gumdrop Drop Tech Series Case (WiFi and 4G) Review

There are few cases out there that offer complete protection for the Galaxy Tab 10.1, but this one does just that!
This case made by Gumdrop, is a complete, wrapped around, fully protected case for this tablet.
On opening the box, it was difficult for me to get the case open. It has 2 pieces, and when first trying to take it apart, you may have some trouble, but don’t worry, after the first time, it’s less complicated to figure out how to get the case off of the tablet.

Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus sports Exynos instead of Tegra 2

That is a good thing. So far the vast majority of Honeycomb devices have used NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 Software on Chip that has run relatively smoothly. Samsung devices and phones have started to run the Exynos SoC though that is blazing fast, just check out the Galaxy S II for evidence of that.
AnandTech.com goes into much more detail on what this means on a technical level, but just know that the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus should be more capable than the 10.1 and 8.9.

Samsung Italy confirms Ice Cream Sandwich updates for Honeycomb Galaxy Tab line

We finally get an official comment about whether or not the second generation of Galaxy Tabs will be updated to Ice Cream Sandwich. The devices listed that will be updated include Galaxy Tab 10.1, Galaxy Tab 8.9, Galaxy Tab 7.7, Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus and Galaxy Note.
Obviously, the update will not be out anytime soon. After all there are still no ICS devices on the market. By Q2 2012 we should see these updates start to trickle down. The Wi-Fi versions will almost definitely get the updates first because they do not have to fight the carriers to get the updates pushed out.

iBallz Review – Gone Universal! For Galaxy Tabs!

iBallz has been universal for a bit now, but a lot of you may not know that!
iBallz is a case replacement, that offers very great protection for tablets, but was invented originally for the iPad.
Now, they have the iBallz Minis, available for all tablets, including the Galaxy Tab, Galaxy Tab 10.1, and Galaxy Tab 10.1v.
I ordered the iBallz Minis in black almost a week ago and got them just a couple days back. And I already have a lot to say about these.
