Galaxy Note 10.1 Jelly Bean update popping up in Germany

The Galaxy Note 10.1 was Samsung’s most recent tablet to launch on Ice Cream Sandwich, but it is now starting to see an update to Jelly Bean in Germany. Unfortunately, it is not the latest version of Jelly Bean (Android 4.2), which is available on the Nexus 10. Instead, the update is just to Android 4.1. Android 4.0 to Android 4.1 was a much bigger update than Android 4.1 to Android 4.2, so do not be too disappointed that the latest version is not coming yet.

Nexus 10 release date and pricing

Hurricane Sandy might have cancelled Google’s Nexus event, but Google still made their announcements known. The most interesting announcement in my opinion was the Nexus 10. Sure, all the specs were already leaked, but the device is outstanding.

It has a 10.055-inch screen at 2560 x 1600 resolution. That equates to 300 ppi, blowing the iPad out of the water. Other key specs include 2 GB of RAM, dual-core A15 processor, Mali T604 graphics, and a 9000 mAh battery.

Samsung Nexus 10 photos and specs leak

The Samsung Nexus 10 is still three days from announcement, but somebody has leaked the specs and plenty of photos. For specs, the Nexus 10 will have a Samsung Exynos 5250 dual-core processor at 1.7 GHz, 2 GB of RAM, 10.1-inch Super AMOLED display with 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution, 5 MP rear camera, unknown front-facing camera, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, and Wi-Fi. Those beefy specs can easily rival the iPad and crush the current crop of Android tablets. (The Galaxy Note 10.1 is powerful, but the lower resolution screen does hold it back.)

Samsung Nexus 10 manual leaks

There is not much to this story. The manual for the rumored Samsung Nexus 10 has leaked and two photos have appeared on the internet. You can find the second photo after the break, but it is even less exciting than the one above.

All this is just further proof that the Nexus 10 is coming soon. It should be announced on October 29th along with Android 4.2 and at least one Nexus phone.
