Galaxy Tab 10.1 headed to T-Mobile USA

T-Mobile USA is finally getting the Galaxy Tab 10.1. Now Verizon won’t be the only carrier with the tablet. Unfortunately it won’t be out for at least a few weeks according to the tweet above.

If the Galaxy Tab 10.1 does not float your boat, then don’t forget that T-Mobile also has something else up its sleeve for the future.

Galaxy Tab 8.9 to be released October 2nd

The title pretty much says it all. Sunday October 2nd the Wi-Fi version Galaxy Tab 8.9 will be available in the United States. There will be both the 16 GB and 32 GB models for $469 and $569 respectively.

Samsung Galaxy Tab Plus?

Tmo News has received photographs of what is apparently called the Galaxy Tab Plus. It is a 7 inch tablet that is a successor to the original Galaxy Tab. The rumored specs do not seem to hold a candle to the real successor though. Namely the 1024 x 600 screen. Nothing is official yet, including the existence of this tablet.

Galaxy Tab 8.9 up for preorder… with shipping date

That’s right boys and girls, the elusive Galaxy Tab 8.9 is finally about to land on US shores. Note that this is not the 1.5 GHz LTE model, but instead the 1 GHz Wi-Fi only model. That might be a disappointment for some, but it is what was promised by Samsung earlier this year.

Best Buy has them up for pre-order now for $469.99 and $569.99 for 16 GB and 32 GB respectively. That is $30 cheaper than the Galaxy Tab 10.1 and it is more portable. Which is better? That is for you to decide when they ship out between September 25th and 30th.

Overcome ROM comes to Galaxy Tab 10.1

Team Overcome has released their first ROM for the Galaxy Tab 10.1. For those of you that do not know, the Overcome ROM was among the most popular ROMs available for the Original Galaxy Tab.

There are not many ROMs yet available for the Galaxy Tab 10.1, so this one is definitely welcome!

My mission is simple. I aim to vastly improve the stock user experience on Samsung devices. I think that Samsung makes fantastic hardware, however fails to bring the same level of software quality to their devices. This is where I step in. I take the base rom, as provided by Samsung, and perform further optimization and modification to it. My mods aim not to completely customize the user interface, but rather add some very useful key functionality while retaining the “stock android” look.
