Galaxy Note 10.1

Brief history

The Galaxy Note 10.1 was announced at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain on February 27, 2012. It features an S-Pen stylus just like the Galaxy Note.

The tablet has not been in the news much since the announcement and there is no release date. There are rumors that Samsung is improving the specs on the Galaxy Note 10.1 to launch as the first of the third generation of their line of Android tablets.

The Galaxy Note 10.1 was indeed upgraded with a faster 1.4 GHz quad-core Exynos CPU and 2 GB of RAM. The Wi-Fi model was released in the United States on August 16, 2012. It sells for $499 and $549 for 16 GB and 32 GB respectively.
