Brief history

The Galaxy Tab 10.1v was originally called the Galaxy Tab 10.1 and was announced February 13th 2011. It was supposed to be released in March in the United States and April in Europe but those plans changed after Apple announced the iPad 2. Samsung quickly redesigned the Galaxy Tab 10.1 into a smaller and more attractive body. The original Galaxy Tab 10.1 was redesigned the Galaxy Tab 10.1v and was released on Vodafone in Australia in May. It has since come to other countries on Vodafone.
