Reports are saying that the Galaxy Tab 8.9 with LTE might be unveiled in New York on August 26th. That itself is quite mundane, but there are speculations that the Galaxy Tab 8.9 with LTE will pack a 1.5 GHz processor. For those of you that are keeping track at home that is a whole 500 MHz faster than the 1 GHz dual-core chipset in the Galaxy Tab 10.1.

Well how about that folks. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 gets some 4G LTE love from Verizon before the Motorola Xoom. Verizon put the 10.1 up for pre-order on their website today in the same four different configurations available for the Wi-Fi model: 16GB/32GB in either white or grey.
Some leaked pictures of Verizon’s system surfaced with what appears to be a Galaxy Tab 10.1 in 4G LTE fashion.
The model, SCH-I905, is listed in both black and white. It is unlikely that the white model will have the same cool back that the Limited Edition ones had. But still people go crazy over white.
