Galaxy Note 10.1 Jelly Bean update popping up in Germany
The Galaxy Note 10.1 was Samsung’s most recent tablet to launch on Ice Cream Sandwich, but it is now starting to see an update to Jelly Bean in Germany. Unfortunately, it is not the latest version of Jelly Bean (Android 4.2), which is available on the Nexus 10. Instead, the update is just to Android 4.1. Android 4.0 to Android 4.1 was a much bigger update than Android 4.1 to Android 4.2, so do not be too disappointed that the latest version is not coming yet.

James Franco stars in Galaxy Note 10.1 commercial
James Franco is an actor that is, perhaps, most known for his work in the Spider-Man trilogy. You can see a bunch of his other work on IMDb. Why am I talking about James Franco? Because he is in a new Samsung commercial for the Galaxy Note 10.1.
The commercial is more than a little bit ridiculous. It plays off Franco’s image of a man with man talents. Of course, a man who wears many hats needs a tablet with true multitasking! I hope one day to be as rich as James Franco, just so I can afford a toaster that launches toast several feet into the air.

Galaxy Note 10.1 launch event video
The launch event video for the Galaxy Note 10.1 is now available. It was a little choppy for me, but is definitely watchable. This 46 minute video is worth watching if you are interested in the Galaxy Note 10.1.
Samsung has provided professionals in different creative industries with a Galaxy Note 10.1 and they describe their experiences with it on stage.
Then Travis Merrill walks through some of the features of the Galaxy Note 10.1. He claims that the tablet “is not simply a great idea, but is also a truly great product.”
