The pricing and release date for the AT&T Galaxy Note II was just announced by the cellular company. Pre-orders start on October 25th, but the release is set for November 9th. The pricing is $299 on a 2-year contract, which is the same as the Galaxy Note’s original pricing. The original Galaxy Note is now $199 on a 2-year contract.
The Galaxy Note II is about to launch in the UK and be announced in America, but Samsung has only recently uploaded a video demonstrating their software tweaks. The video showcases a Korean Galaxy Note II, but the experience should be largely the same in other countries.
The most interesting feature is multi window mode, which allows two apps to appear on the screen at once. The number of compatible apps is larger than on the Galaxy Note 10.1 and it even includes some stock Google apps like Gmail.

We already have a release date for the Galaxy Note II in the UK, but the US release appears to be right around the corner.Samsung sent out invites saying “The Next Big Thing Is Here.” The invite also features an S Pen stylus and other information detailing the event on October 24th in New York City. This does seem to promise a US Galaxy Note II announcement. Hopefully Samsung will be able to offer it on all the major carriers with LTE and the quad-core Exynos chipset, but an S4 processor would not be the end of the world.
We have not heard much about the Galaxy Note II since the announcement in late August. Now there is word from Samsung that the Galaxy Note II will be available in the United Kingdom started on October 1st. That is coming up pretty fast. Hopefully the rest of the world will receive the super-phone soon after.
