Samsung wants the Galaxy Tab 10.1 injunction removed
The Galaxy Tab 10.1 has had an injunction placed on it in the United States since June 26. Now that the jury has ruled in favor of Samsung on one of the patents that justified the injunction, Samsung thinks that it should be removed.
I think it is ridiculous that it was even banned in the first place. Not only does it look different than the iPad, it is also over a year old. Not many people would even try to buy the Galaxy Tab 10.1 if it was available for sale in the United States.

Jury finds that the Galaxy Tab 10.1 doesn’t infringe iPad
The verdict is in for the monumental Apple vs Samsung case. While Samsung lost overall having to pay $1.05 billion, the jury found that the Galaxy Tab 10.1 did not infringe on the iPad’s design patent (D504889). This is the rounded rectangle patent. The patent is still valid, but Samsung was not found to infringe it.
The products that were found to infringe patents were all smart phones and not the Galaxy Tab line.

It is not Jelly Bean, but Ice Cream Sandwich is a lot better than Honeycomb.
