This package deal comes with an 8 GB Galaxy Tab 2 7.0, keyboard dock, and USB adapter. The keyboard dock and USB adapter are valued at $100. The entire bundle costs $250, which is the price the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 normally sells for.

Verizon Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 with 4G LTE annoucned

Verizon has decided to pick up another one of Samsung’s tablets and add it to their 4G lineup. The latest Verizon tablet is the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0.

The Verizon Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 will feature 4G LTE. Users can expect download speeds between 5 and 12 Mbps and upload speeds between 2 and 5 Mbps. The specs are largely the same as its Wi-Fi only sibling. One exception is the bump in clockspeed from 1.0 GHz to 1.2 GHz on the dual-core CPU.

There was a time when the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 was a compelling 7-inch tablet to buy. Then the Nexus 7 launched at a great price with great specs. The Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 stopped being the best bargain.

Engadget is reporting that Best Buy might start selling a Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 Student Edition tablet on August 19th. It appears to be the same exact Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 bundled with a keyboard dock and USB connector.

The Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 is reported to sell for the same $250 price that the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 originally sold for. It seems like a pretty good deal if you are interested in those accessories.
