Wi-Fi Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus Ice Cream Sandwich update available

I received an email yesterday informing me that the Wi-Fi Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus had received an Ice Cream Sandwich update a couple of days ago. After doing a little searching on the web, it appears to be true. The update is available OTA or via Kies. It will upgrade your Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus Wi-Fi only model to Android 4.0.4, which is miles ahead of the Honeycomb software previously installed.

T-Mobile Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus Ice Cream Sandwich update available

The T-Mobile Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus Ice Cream Sandwich update is hitting tablets today. The only catch is that you must use Samsung Kies to upgrade your tablet. You can download it from Samsung’s website.

An over the air update would be much more convenient, but at least you can get Android 4.0 goodness on your Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus.

Another day, another Ice Cream Sandwich update for a Galaxy Tab. This time the update is for the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus Wi-Fi in the United Kingdom. The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus Wi-Fi Ice Cream Sandwich update brings all of the great features and improvements of Android 4.0 to the previously Honeycomb tablet. Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus gets Ice Cream Sandwich in Austria

Austrian Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus owners are finally going to get some sweet Ice Cream Sandwich action. This update brings the Android OS up to Android 4.0. It is available for download via Kies or OTA (Over The Air). Just go into your settings and prompt it to check for a software update.

It is good to see Samsung delivering on their promise for Ice Cream Sandwich updates this month, but when will the other tablets like the Galaxy Tab 10.1 and 8.9 get their official upgrade?

Ice Cream Sandwich updates for Galaxy Tab line coming in July – August

SamMobile is reporting that the Galaxy Tab line will receive an update to Ice Cream Sandwich very soon. The updates will apparently start in July, but most are planned for August. Keep reading for the list of Galaxy Tabs to get the update then. It appears to be the entire Honeycomb lineup.
