Last week at CTIA when Samsung announced the new Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Galaxy Tab 8.9, Samsung had a video testimony of three people about what they thought about the Galaxy Tab. They managed to shave over 2 mm off bringing it down to the exact same size as the Galaxy Tab 8.9 at 8.6 mm thin.
You should not be surprised that Samsung announced the 8.9 inch Tab today if you have been reading our recent posts. The specs are outstanding, especially the dimensions. It is only 8.6 mm thin! Take that Apple with your fat 8.8 mm iPad.
