American Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi owners will be happy to hear that Samsung has started to push out an over the air update to their devices. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi Ice Cream Sandwich update brings all the goodies of Android 4.0.
It is not Jelly Bean, but Ice Cream Sandwich is a lot better than Honeycomb.
The update can be installed through Kies desktop software, OTA update, or by flashing it from Sam Firmware. The easiest way is over the air and you can prompt it to check for updates in settings.
The Galaxy Tab 10.1 Ice Cream Sandwich update has already started to roll out on the 3G models, but now the Wi-Fi models are starting to get their turn. The GT-P7510 currently has an over the air update ready in the United Kingdom.
Hopefully, Samsung will release updates in other parts of the world soon too. It should not be much longer though because Samsung promised Android 4.0 updates by the end of August.
