$399 for a Galaxy Tab, sign me up! Keep in mind that this is in CAD though which is around $413 USD and €292 Euros. Still a pretty good deal considering the Galaxy Tab came out around six months ago for over $600.
Steve Jobs went on stage and announced the Apple iPad 2 March 2nd. The new iPad had improved specs and kept the same price point with models between $499 and $829. Samsung has not announced an official price yet, but it appears that what they were planning on was higher than what Apple has.
The Galaxy Tab 10.1 and possibly the Galaxy Tab 8.9 are right around the corner, but we cannot forget about the Tab that started it all. Verizon just dropped the price to $300. But $300 plus a two year contract at a minimum of $20 a month for 1 GB of data is $780 over the course of two years.
We finally got our first price tag for the Galaxy Tab 10.1, €699. That translates to about $960 USD. If you live in the US though, do not freak out.
Find out how much it will cost in the US after the break.
